2009 Mathis & Minnie Ola Fort Family Reunion JUNE 26-28, 2009 The Reunion site Friday night – Greater St. John Baptist Church Family Life Center, Hooks, TX Sunday – 4 States Fair Ground, Texarkana, AR Awards ceremony, group family photo REUNION HIGHLIGHTS Get Acquainted Night/Fashion Show – Friday June 26th: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - We have planned activities for all age groups. Pick up your registration package and plan on having lots of fun including Fort Family Trivia pursuit. We are asking each family to model an apparel category, for example: the Gouldby’s – boots, Hearon’s – jeans, and Lomax’s – jewelry (you choose). HISTORICAL TOUR/PICNIC – Saturday, June 27th: 8:00 a.m. - Registration & Continental breakfast 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon – Historical tour to include Old Boston, family grave sites and hay ride on the old home place in Triggs, AR 1:00 p.m. – 8 p.m. – picnic, games, lunch, raffles, family competitions, etc…. 5:00 p.m. – Fire Side Chat: You do not want to miss this fire side chat with Seoney, RT, Bonnie, Lloyd, Everett, Willie, and Ostine. We will video our history from the eyes of these siblings. Bring your questions, cameras and curiosity. How did Mama Minnie Ola & Papa Mathis meet?? 10:00 p.m. -- until – Family entertainment confirmed at registration (bowling, Shreveport casino, dancing at Nut’s place-club) AWARDS CEREMONY/FAMILY PHOTO - Sunday, June 28th 11:00 a.m. – Close out ceremony and awards Noon – Family photo (please wear any combination of black & white) 12:30 p.m. – Lunch and planning committee for 2012
